We are pleased to be joining forces with our friends, the New York Festival Singers, to commemorate the second anniversary of the Covid-19 pandemic with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s incredible Requiem in D Minor, K.626. Presented in its entirety (Süssmayr completion), we are proud to return to the stage with such a magnificent—and breathtaking—work.
This concert will take place at our home, Church of the Holy Apostles (296 9th Ave, at 28th St. in Chelsea). Conducted by Litha Symphony's Artistic Director, Eric Hayslett with vocal solos provided by NY Festival Singers Kathleen McClafferty (soprano), Elizabeth Thorne (contralto), Joseph Fedor (tenor), and Alec Spencer (bass). Come and show your support as both of our ensembles take to the stage together for the first time since 2019. This collaborative performance has been a long time in the works—be sure not to miss it! Tickets are on sale below. We can't wait to see you at the performance! |
