2021 is a big year for Litha—we're turning 10!
To celebrate our 10th year, we're throwing a little birthday party...and you're invited! Come join us—virtually that is—for a socially distant get-together as we celebrate 10 years of making music. Litha strings will start things off with an arrangement of Frescobaldi's Toccata, followed by Tchaikovsky's gorgeous Andante cantabile from Op. 11. After a quick break, we'll come back to Strauss' Serenade in E♭, Op. 7 conducted by assistant conductor, Zach Nicely. To close out our birthday soirée, we'll all join together to play three movements from Gleißner's orchestration of Mozart's 'Gran Partita'. |
